Calais to Bruge via Lille, Kortrijk, Deinze,Diksmuide. 16th July to 18th September 2025
We are getting bolder and braver with finding mooring spots. Sheltered by the Commercial.
Even though this is large, it has floating bollards. So a big positive.
Felt like being in a cooking pot!
Another bold mooring decision. A bit short, but at least we are off the main canal and the wake from the Commercials.
Nice views too and peaceful.
Heading back to Bruge via Lille this time instead of Dunkirk.
Lille. We were here for my 60th last year and we are here again for my 61st.
France's version of Croque Monsieur or Welsh Rarebit on steroids. We shared it and still couldn't finish it. Too rich!
Kortrijk mooring - Belgium
Kortrijk was a nice surprise. We had a lovely couple of days here.
